Flight Options Surpasses Flexjet and Travel Air in Sales of Fractional Shares in First Seven Months of 2000

CLEVELAND, OH (August 31, 2000) - Flight Options, the only national provider of pre-owned fractional jet aircraft, has announced that it sold 26.5% of the total fractional aircraft shares sold in the first seven months of 2000, according to data released by ARG/US and AvData, Inc. 

AvData, Inc. specializes in the collection of data on the owners and operators of all civil aircraft worldwide and is an affiliate of Aviation Research Group/U.S. (ARG/US).  ARG/US is a provider of primary market research and corporate aircraft operation databases, and published its analysis in its most recent quarterly report. 

The analysis of total fractional shares sold since January 1, 2000 showed Flight Options ranked second among all fractional aircraft ownership programs with 26.5% of the total sales and 191 fractional shares sold. Rounding out the total market (of 722 shares sold) were:  Executive Jet Sales/Net Jets at 28.0% share with 202 shares sold; Flexjet/Business Jet Solutions, posting a 19.9% share with 144 fractional shares sold; and, Raytheon Travel Air at 16.3% with 118 shares. Four other operators comprise the rest of the total market with a combined 9% share.
